The Connecticut Workforce Development Council (CWDC) is comprised of five Workforce Investment Boards, managed by business-led volunteer Boards of Directors representing business, education and community leaders with oversight by a regional consortium of elected officials. The Boards collectively and individually coordinate comprehensive programs through private and public partner organizations to assist job seekers and employers in achieving their goals.  The Boards also fund and oversee the state's 20 CTWorks Career Centers.
